Sheridan Hageman has over 30 years experience as a financial controller and corporate CEO involving finance, administration, accounting, and information processing operations. His employment and consulting expertise spans the gamet of small business, not-for-profit, and corporate environments including petroleum distribution, construction, manufacturing, research and development, information systems, and pharmaceutical and medical research. Sheridan brings a depth of knowledge in financial accounting, and management that provides a solid base to handle the not-for-profit needs of PSYmore.
Current Work
Sheridan is currently a partner with Systems & More, Inc, an information systems consulting firm in Tampa, Florida. His responsibilities entail responsibility for the direction and financial stability of the corporation and consulting expertise in computer networks with both software and hardware.
Background
During 1979−1985, Sheridan was the vice president of finance and administration for Key Energy Enterprise located in Tampa, Florida. In this responsibility, he oversaw the accounting, finance, and management information systems for the company’s thirty profit centers. He also supervised a staff of thirty employees and several outside programmers. In addition, he developed the data processing and MIS systems and converted the accounting system from a manual to a total computerized system. He was directly involved in the development of consolidation financial software for SEC reporting 10Q and 10K requirements, and directed all administrative functions including the human relations department and the creation of the company policy manual.
Prior to 1979, Sheridan was the financial controller for the Belmac Corporation in Tampa, Florida. He was responsible for all financial statements and the establishment of proper internal control procedures and systems for a research and development company. Before his employment with the Belmac Corporation, he was the financial controller for the SuperTest/Signal Oil Company. In this responsibility, he was responsible for all accounting operations for a division of Signal Oil and Gas in marketing gasoline and oils in seven Eastern states. He also instituted a cash investment and cash management program and supervised a staff of forty employees. From 1962−1965, he worked as an insurance inland marine underwriter for the Central Mutual Insurance Company in Van Vert, Ohio.
