Triesta Hall is a multi-award winning graphic and multimedia artist who has more than fourteen years of extensive print experience including research and development into the latest print techniques and print checks. She is also an educator who currently holds the position of Department Chair of Digital Publishing at Full Sail Real World Education in Orlando, Florida, which is one of the premier media arts colleges in the world. Currently, she is pursing a Masters of Graphic Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. She expects to graduate in 2008. In her position of the Vice President of Creative Design for PSYmore Research Institute, she brings a wealth of expertise in graphic design that is leading edge and highly professional to assist PSYmore in its research goals and presentation materials. As a published award winning web page and brand identity designer, she also serves as PSYmore’s webmaster.

Current Work

In Triesta’s current position with Full Sail since 2003, she has developed the content for their first-ever class in Digital Publishing that included all presentations and four-hour length lectures. The course covers topics, such as prototyping, print design, packaging, publishing media, and portfolio creation. Her course development led to a 78% placement rate for graduating students and positive teacher critiques averaging 94%. In this position, she has responsibility for the oversight approval of the
final design of page layout and typography to meet Full Sail’s educational standards, and manages five laboratory instructors and two associate course directors. She will assume the position of the Chair of Design for Full Sail in 2007 in which she will have oversight of the program development for digital media.

Triesta’s freelance company, Blu-Art & Design, provides graphic design. Some of her clients include TEVA, AAA, Sony Music, Harcourt, Bearport Publishing, Century III Media, Walt Disney World Co., Arc Angels Pictures, Orlando Downtown Media Arts Center, Rollins College, dphysique.com, Chimera, and DivEco. Background

Triesta’s expertise in web design and graphic design has spanned sixteen years that include a wide experience with various graphic related softwares in both the Microsoft Windows and Macintosh environments. Prior to working with Full Sail, Triesta held the position of Designer from 1998−2004 with Harcourt School Publishers, the world’s largest school book publisher during which time she achieved multiple award winning designs. From 1997−1998, she held the position of Art Director for AAA/Car & Travel Magazine, the world’s largest consumer travel organization, in which she was responsible for the layout and creation of illustrations for 15 regional magazines. While there she also received numerous recognitions for her excellent designs. During 1995−1997, she held the position of Graphic Artist and Typographer for the Typographics/Black Dot Corporation in which she coordinated page layouts for clients such as AAA, Disney, and Harcourt Brace. Prior to working with the Black Dot Corporation, she held the position of Graphic Designer for the DME Corporation for which she created the graphics to be programmed into the flight simulators by engineers for Navy pilots. She undertook the documentation and creation of help manuals and her responsibilities while there required strict adherence to government standards. Her project with the CH-47 helicopter was completed under budget and ahead of schedule with many commendations from the U.S. Navy. While attending Rollins College, she worked as the Publications Director for Rollins College/WPRK-FM radio station from 1991−1993. In this capacity, she was responsible for developing the brand identity of the radio station including their programming guide, logos, press kits, and advertisements. She expanded their programming guide into a local arts magazine, which published nationally solely on advertising revenue. She was also their executive producer for the music compilation of the radio station’s 40th anniversary, which received positive reviews from the media and a fundraising success for their CD.
